Unveiling the Hottest Fashion Trends of the Season! Fashion is an ever-evolving industry that constantly introduces us to new styles, colors, and patterns. With each passing season, fashion enthusiasts eagerly await the latest trends that will dominate runways and street style. In this blog post, we will delve into the most captivating fashion trends that have taken the world by storm.
Pastel Power: Pastel hues have emerged as the go-to color palette for this season. Soft shades of lavender, mint green, baby blue, and blush pink are making a bold statement in both casual and formal wear. These delicate colors exude elegance and add a touch of femininity to any outfit. Oversized Blazers: The oversized blazer trend has made a strong comeback, bringing with it a sense of power and sophistication. This versatile piece can be worn with anything from jeans to tailored trousers, instantly elevating any ensemble. Experiment with bold prints or opt for classic neutrals to achieve a chic and polished look.
Statement Sleeves: Say goodbye to basic sleeves and embrace the drama of statement sleeves. From voluminous puffed sleeves to exaggerated ruffles, this trend adds a touch of whimsy and femininity to any outfit. Whether it’s a blouse, dress, or sweater, statement sleeves are sure to turn heads and make a statement.
Just take the pill. But it is only rated 93 % sure, whilst an IUD (intra uterine device) is 99,3 % sure. There are 2 major differences. The pill is a hormone which acts by stopping the ovaries from releasing an egg each month. It also thickens the fluid around the cervix (opening to the uterus or womb) to prevent the sperm from entering. The IUD is purely mechanical, like a condom, but not around his penis but inside your uterus. Some come with slow releasing hormones to do the same thing as “the pill”, in addition to the mechanical protection. But there is a but. We know what the various types of hormones do (like causing eggs to be formed and released, or the opposite), but we don’t quite know how it is done. We are able to make hormones in the laboratory, but are they exactly the same as the natural ones? And then there are side effects, like depressions or weight gain. If you use the pill, read up on it, maybe you'll find an explanation on why of late you suffer headaches or other things. And, in this month of breast cancer awareness, be aware that taking the pill increases your chance of breast cancer. Personally, as long as much of hormones is still a grey area, I rather stay away from them.
Bernard Arnault, majority owner of LVMH (Louis Vuitton handbags, travel ware and watches, Moët champagne, Hennessy cognac) claims that the luxury market is not affected by recessions because the rich are rich anyway. The name LVMH is a bit misleading, Arnault owes a few other brands: 10 Cane, Acqua di Parma, Ardbeg distillery, Belmond Limited, Belvedere Vodka, Benefit Cosmetics, Berluti, BITE Beauty, Le Bon Marché, Bulgari, Bulgari Hotel and Residences, Caffè-Pasticceria Cova, Cape Mentelle Vineyards, Celine (brand), Champagne Krug, Champagne Mercier, Chaumet, Château Cheval Blanc, Clos des Lambrays, Cloudy Bay Vineyards, Colgin Cellars, Connaissance des Arts, DFS Group, Dior, Dom Pérignon, Domaine Chandon California, Les Echos (France), Feadship, Fendi, Fenty (fashion house), Fenty Beauty, Fred Joaillier, Gentle Monster, Gerald Genta (watch brand), Givenchy, Glen Moray distillery, Glenmorangie distillery, Guerlain, Hennessy, Hublot, Investir, Jardin d'Acclimatation, JW Anderson, Kenzo (brand), Lady Dior, Loewe (fashion brand), Make Up For Ever, Moët & Chandon, Moynat, Newton Vineyard, Off-White (company), Officine Universelle Buly, OMAS, Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givench, Le Parisien, Patou, Princess Yachts, Emilio Pucci, Radio Classique, Repossi, Rimowa, Royal Van Lent Shipyard, Ruinart (Champagne), La Samaritaine, Sephora, TAG Heuer, Terrazas de los Andes, Tiffany & Co., Veuve Clicquot, Louis Vuitton, Château d'Yquem, Zenith (watchmaker). forgive me if I misspelled or forgot some. Anyway, the market did suffer from the recession, instead of 15 % more sales year on year on, it was only an increase of 8%. Arnault is an interesting person, he is 74 years old and in the process of handing over parts of his conglomerate to his children. For starters son Jean Arnault wants to make Louis Vuitton watches even more exclusive. Watch this space….
