Shot hips

Finally, one’s dream of living out your dramatic costume became a reality since the return of 16th, 17th-century fashion.

Peplum dresses are body-hugging dresses that include a gathered piece of fabric, usually at the waist, that flares out. As it moves down, it circles out and covers your bottom.

Flare outfits for red carpets have the best dramatic flair scenes of any flared dress style. Following your natural curves, the flare begins just a little below the hip. Dramatic oversized hip clothing are back in vogue and we are here for it.

African designers are blurring the line between traditional African clothes and contemporary styles featuring exotic trends and art. Flared outfits can be worn to different scenes and occasions without fear of backlash depending on the flare style.

Here are some few dramatic haute couture moments to take inspiration from when deciding your next outfit adventure.

Looking for a partner?

In July, blog No.5, I suggested you make a list of things you like and things you dont like, so you get a better idea of what you really want in life. 3 Months later, in September, blog No. 14, I followed up by asking what you really want out of a relationship, things like protection, money, a listening partner, a father for your kids, someone to enjoy things with etc. I hope you have done that and now have a better idea as to what you expect from Mr X, your future Hubby. Let's now try to decide what we want Mr X to be. Tall? Intelligent? Rich? Popular? Sporty? Sex Star? Handsome? Good Steady Job? Successful Business Man? NGO Worker? There are many things to consider, you're planning to live with Mr. X Ideal for a long time. But there are consequences to look at. Sporty? Is he fond to watch football every evening and is going off with his friends for the major matches on a big screen? Is he the quiet type and will not react if the kids are doing poorly at school? Is he rich and handsome and the whole world including your younger sister will become your rival? Is he a sex man and will he go outside if you don’t give it to him thrice daily? Think about these and let's meet again on this subject in a few months time and then decide how we'll find Mr X.

Paco Rabanne

Spanish French fashion designer Paco Rabanne, born Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo dies at 88. But not much will change, already in 1987 he had handed over his imperium to Ruig and different designers took his place. He initially designed for Dior, Givenchy and Balenciaga, and made shoe sketches for Charles Jourdan. In the mid-sixties he created his first fashion line with metal, plastic and paper dresses and this was rejected as too futuristic, but the next year he did the same and this time the critics felt he had revolutionized the fashion industry. His dresses appeared in block busters (Barbarella, with Jane Fonda, the green dress), and artistes Francoise Hardy and Mylène Farmer had their stage dresses designed by him.

In 1969 he started creating fragrances, and amongst others created XS and 1 Million for men, (2010) and 1 Lady Million for? Indeed, for Ladies, recognizable by its gold like bottles, and asked Fragrance house Ruig to market them, and this eventually resulted in the take over

Another iconic leftover is the “le 69” bag

Paco definitely had talent, but his later years were marred by controversial claims and disaster predictions, He had met God 3 times and personally knew Jezus, he was 77,000 years old and predicted that a Russian spacecraft would fall on Paris. Asked to stop such public disaster predictions he agreed, but later continued after the Virgin Mary had told him to do so. He sure has things to explain to his forefathers.
