How to take care of your African clothing.

Taking care of your African outfits is important to preserve their quality and appearance. Here are some general tips on how to wash, dry, iron, and store your African print fabrics, and African-made designer clothes.

• Wash your African outfits by hand or in a washing machine in a cold or lukewarm setting. Use a mild detergent or bar soap and avoid bleach or other harsh chemicals. You can also add some salt to the water to help seal the colors and prevent fading. • Dry your African outfits by hanging them or laying them flat on a towel. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources that can damage the fabric or cause fading. You can also use a dryer on a low heat setting if you prefer. • Iron your African outfits on the inside of the fabric using a cotton setting. This will help preserve the colors and prevent shrinking. You can also use an ironing board and an ironing cloth to protect the fabric from direct contact with the iron. • Store your African outfits in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. You can fold them neatly or hang them on hangers to prevent wrinkles and creases. You can also use garment bags or boxes to protect them from dust and insects.

I talked about having Sex between your ears and getting rid of any phantasies, funny as they might be and I was going to tell you an unusual but true story to illustrate this. I met this woman from overseas, on a short mission in Ghana, age about 30. She'd been married for 7 years but so far had not gotten pregnant. Her parents ran one of these shops where they sell cakes and biscuits, non-alcoholic drinks, magazines, serve coffee etc. As a child she had been warned not to go to the highest shelf of the magazines, and as a nine year old healthy curious child she did go there, and found herself looking at pictures of naked people playing bondage games and caning. The caning thing somehow got stuck in her mind and she had always wanted to try it out but did not dare tell her husband. She dared tell me because was quite sure she'd never return to Ghana and meet me again.

The long and the short of it is that I took her over my knees and gave her a proper spanking, she even had to postpone her return to Europe by a week to get rid of some of the blues, for her husband not to notice anything. And guess what? 4 month later I had a message that she was pregnant. And indeed I have never seen her again. So get rid of your hidden complexes.

Hormones again. Meanwhile I also found out there are not just a few of them, so far almost a 100 were discovered, all regulated through our endocrine system. So if one gets out of balance others too react. Typically hormone balances will be disturbed by chemicals found in the air, water, food, but also medicines. Want an easy one? Taking Paracetamol during pregnancy may cause malformation of genitals in boys. Meaning balls and dicks. So don’t be surprised if Harry claims she feels more like Harriet.

Research also seems to conclude that corticoids, corticosteroids, man-made drugs that closely resemble cortisol, a hormone that your adrenal glands produce naturally, and commonly used against inflammation, increase your change to become diabetic type 2 by 2-5 times (the acquired one, through life style, diabetes type 1 is mostly genetic, form birth) by increasing blood sugar levels and reducing insulin resistance. So be aware of what pill you pop before you pop.

Finances again. I mentioned saving account interests of 12 % per annum, while typical inflation is about 25-30 per % per annum. So you loose, whilst the banks are making a fortune with your money. They either invest your money into much higher yielding Treasury Bills or they lend it out to companies which need to borrow, at 30-40%. (Mind you, some companies that borrow never pay back) That huge difference pays for their staff, buildings, computers, furniture and, lastly, but most importantly, their profit. And that's really what this is all about. The owners of the bank, the shareholders, have invested in it. They too could have bought treasury bills, or invested into the Home Finance Company and the like, or bought Dollars and keep them under their matrass. But they figured setting up a bank was going to give them more returns. And that's a lot. So as far as they are concerned they are not there for you, you are there for them. Keep that in mind in dealing with them. And don't let them bully you. The only difference between a bank and a provisions store is that a bank deals in money, and a provisions store deals in tomato paste. And you would not allow the provisions store owner to tell you what to buy, and you can change what provisions store you buy from at any time. And the last recruitment advert from a bank I read was asking for a second class lower degree as a minimum, So don’t expect the person in front of you to be sharper than you are, think for yourself and if not sure walk out and ask for advice. “If you can spell your name without making a spelling mistake you can get a job in a bank”
